Getting started

Style OS is a booking and business management platform built for independent beauty and grooming professionals. It covers scheduling, payments, client communication, and reporting in one place. Whether you work alone or run a multi-location operation, Style OS adapts to how you work — no bloated software, no feature walls.

After signup, you go through a one-time onboarding session where your account is fully configured. A confirmation email will follow with your login and a link to your dashboard. From there, complete your business profile, add your services with pricing and durations, and customize your public booking page before sharing it with clients.

From the dashboard, go to Services and select Add Service. Enter the name, description, duration, and price. You can organize services into categories, set deposit requirements, and mark individual services as bookable or internal-only. Published services appear immediately on your public booking page.

Your booking page has a unique link tied to your profile. Find it in the Booking section of your dashboard. Share it directly with clients, add it to your Instagram bio, or link it from anywhere else you promote your business. Clients do not need an account to book.
Booking

Clients visit your booking page, choose a service, pick an available time slot, and enter their contact details. If a deposit or full prepayment is required, they complete it through Stripe Checkout at that step. Both you and the client receive a confirmation email once the booking is locked in.

Clients can cancel or request to reschedule by replying to their confirmation email or contacting you directly. Your cancellation and rescheduling policies — including how far in advance changes are allowed and whether deposits are refundable — are set by you in your booking settings.

Reminders are sent automatically by email. Clients receive a confirmation at the time of booking and a reminder before their appointment based on your timing settings. You control when reminders are sent from the dashboard. SMS reminders are planned for a future update.

New bookings appear on your calendar immediately. You receive an email notification with the appointment details — client name, service, date, and time. All upcoming appointments are also visible in the Appointments section of your dashboard.
Billing & payments

Style OS uses Stripe to process client payments. During onboarding, you connect your existing Stripe account or create a new one. Once connected, payments made through your booking page go directly to your Stripe account. Style OS does not hold your funds or take a cut of transactions beyond the monthly subscription fee.

Payouts are handled by Stripe and deposited directly to your connected bank account. Stripe typically processes payouts within two business days. The exact schedule depends on your Stripe payout settings, which you can view and manage in your Stripe dashboard.

OS One starts at $30 per month for one operator. Additional staff seats are $10 per month each, and additional locations are $60 per month each. There are no per-booking fees, no hidden charges, and no feature paywalls — everything is included at the base price. See the Pricing page for full details.

Yes. You can set a deposit requirement per service or across your entire booking page. Deposits are collected via Stripe Checkout when the client books. The remaining balance is collected at the time of the appointment. You control the deposit amount and refund policy in your settings.
Account & access

From the dashboard, go to Team and select Invite Staff. Enter the staff member's email and assign a role. They will receive an invitation to create their account. Staff can be assigned to their own calendar, client list, and services. Each additional seat is billed at $10 per month.

Go to Settings from the dashboard and select Business Profile. From there you can update your business name, contact information, address, profile photo, and social links. Changes publish to your public booking page immediately.

To pause your account, a one-time fee of $4.99 applies. During a pause, your booking page and dashboard are disabled until you reactivate. To cancel permanently, email support@styleos.app. Upon cancellation, all business data is deleted and cannot be recovered. Export anything you need before requesting termination.
Troubleshooting

Refresh the page and check that your date range filter is set correctly. If appointments are still missing, log out, clear your browser cache, and log back in. If the issue persists, email support with your account email and a description of what is missing.

Ask the client to check their spam or junk folder. Confirmation emails come from a Style OS address and may be filtered. If the email is not there, check that the correct email address was entered at the time of booking in your Appointments section. If everything looks correct and emails are still not arriving, contact support.

Make sure you are logged into the correct Stripe account in another tab before starting the connection process. If you see an error during setup, disconnect and try again. If the issue continues, email support with your account email and a screenshot of the error message.

First confirm that your account is active and not paused. Check that your booking page is set to published in your dashboard settings. If both look correct, share the direct link with a test device and clear the browser cache. If the page still does not load, email support with your booking page URL.
